Focus and Scope
ACTIVA: Journal of Applied Community Development publishes evidence-informed research and applied development scholarship that contributes to the advancement of community engagement, empowerment, and sustainable development.
The journal welcomes manuscripts that explore, but are not limited to, the following areas:

Submitted manuscripts should demonstrate a clear identification of community needs, participatory processes, intervention strategies, appropriate evaluation methods, documented outcomes, ethical considerations, and practical implications for community development practice and policy.
