IDEAS: Journal of Innovation in Economics, Accounting, and Management Science follows the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA), 7th Edition for manuscript structure and citation style. Authors are required to prepare their manuscripts using the IMRaD format (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion), where applicable, and apply APA 7th Edition consistently throughout the manuscript.

Manuscripts that do not comply with the journal's formatting and citation requirements may be returned to the authors for revision before entering the peer-review process or rejected by the Editorial Board.

General Author Guidelines

Authors submitting manuscripts to IDEAS: Journal of Innovation in Economics, Accounting, and Management Science are expected to comply with the following requirements:

1. Register an author account through the journal's online submission system before submitting a manuscript. Authors experiencing technical difficulties may contact the editorial office for assistance.
2. Submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication by another journal or publisher.
3. Where applicable, authors should provide evidence of ethical approval issued by the relevant institutional ethics committee.
4. Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx), Rich Text Format (.rtf), or OpenDocument (.odt).
5. Authors are encouraged to provide their ORCID iD and institutional affiliation. If available, a personal or institutional website URL may also be included.
6. Manuscripts may be written in English or Bahasa Indonesia.
7. Authors must prepare their manuscripts using the official Article Template provided by the journal.

The journal applies the APA 7th Edition citation and referencing style.

Authors are expected to:

• Use relevant, high-quality, and primarily peer-reviewed references.
• Cite recent literature whenever possible, preferably published within the last 10 years, except for seminal works that remain essential.
• Ensure that every in-text citation appears in the reference list and that every reference listed is cited in the manuscript.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of all bibliographic information before submission.

Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management software such as Zotero, Mendeley, EndNote, or similar applications. The Editorial Office may request the bibliography database file (e.g., .bib) during the review or production process if necessary.

Manuscript Readiness Level (MRL)

The Manuscript Readiness Level (MRL) is a self-assessment instrument designed to help authors evaluate the quality and readiness of their manuscripts prior to submission. The MRL is intended to improve manuscript quality, facilitate the peer-review process, and increase the likelihood of publication.

Authors are strongly encouraged to complete the MRL assessment before submitting their manuscripts.

85–100	The manuscript is highly prepared and is likely to proceed through peer review with only minor editorial comments.
70–84	Minor revisions may be required before acceptance, provided no major methodological or ethical issues are identified.
50–69	Substantial revisions are likely to be required before the manuscript can be considered for publication.
25–49	The manuscript is unlikely to proceed beyond the initial editorial screening.
