Peer Reviewer Process
All manuscripts submitted to IDEAS: Journal of Innovation in Economics, Accounting, and Management Science undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, and academic integrity of the published articles.
Initial Editorial Screening
Upon submission, each manuscript is evaluated by the Editorial Board to determine whether it:
- Falls within the journal's focus and scope;
- Meets the journal's formatting and submission requirements;
- Demonstrates sufficient originality and academic quality; and
- Complies with the journal's ethical and publication standards.
Manuscripts that do not satisfy these basic requirements may be rejected or returned to the authors for correction prior to peer review.
Double-Blind Peer Review
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to a handling editor and sent to at least two independent reviewers through a double-blind peer-review process. In this process, the identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential throughout the review.
Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on:
- Originality and novelty;
- Scientific and academic contribution;
- Methodological rigor;
- Validity of analysis and conclusions;
- Clarity of presentation and organization; and
- Relevance to the journal's focus and scope.
Editorial Decision
Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the editor will make one of the following decisions:
- Accept
- Minor Revision
- Major Revision
- Reject
Authors receiving revision requests are expected to submit a revised manuscript together with a detailed response addressing each reviewer comment within the specified deadline.
Final Decision
The final publication decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief or the assigned Handling Editor after considering the reviewers' recommendations, the quality of the revised manuscript, and the journal's editorial standards.
Accepted manuscripts proceed through the stages of copyediting, proofreading, layout editing, and final publication according to the journal's publication schedule.
